Stop the Madness!!

Welcome to the campaign website for Sharon Hansen for US Senate from Illinois.  Sharon is running against Dick Durbin for his US Senate seat and also opposes State Senator Jim Oberweis, elected in the Republican Primary in March.  Take a look around to learn more about Sharon and her election goals.

Sharon is not a career politician.  She is a wife, mother, grandmother and small business owner.  She knows how hard many families in America are suffering and our government is just making things worse with their poor choices.  Sharon came from a very underprivileged family.  "We lived on eggs and potatoes growing up.  Once a week, on Sunday, we had a chicken dinner."

If you are not familiar with the Libertarian Party or its platform, here’s a short quiz to let you know where exactly you stand:
